Unclog Your Blog 🪠 15 September

Is blogging actually worth it in 2026? And if it is, what does "doing it right" actually look like?

A free 45-minute live session for small business owners who've either never quite started, or stopped ages ago and haven't quite admitted it.

Tuesday 15 September, 7.30pm - 8.15pm BST, on Zoom

What we'll cover

Whether blogging is actually worth it in 2026

Things have changed a lot recently, and there's a lot of noise out there. I'll share what a genuinely useful blog can do for a small business now — including search, trust, sales conversations and the surprising ways AI has made good, original content more valuable, rather than less.

What to write when you think you have nothing to say

I'll show you a reusable method for finding useful posts in something you're already doing: having real conversations with your clients and customers.

You can use the method again and again, and you can start using it the same day.

How to turn the idea into a blog people can actually find and read

Headings. Titles. Metadata. Keywords. Structure. Those bits tend to sound horribly technical until somebody explains what they're actually for.

I'll show you what matters, what doesn't, and how to get the important bits right without turning yourself into an SEO expert.

Where AI genuinely helps and where it really doesn't

Using AI isn't cheating, but it also isn't a magic bullet for your marketing. I'll show you where it can save you time, where it tends to produce forgettable sludge, and what still needs to come from you if you want your blog to sound like your business rather than everybody else's.

This workshop is for you if…

You run a small business and:

  • your blog is empty, ancient or sporadic
  • you never know what to write about
  • writing a post feels like a much bigger job than it ought to
  • you're wondering whether blogging still matters now AI can generate content by the bucketload
  • you've heard conflicting advice about SEO and don't know what actually matters
  • you'd quite like someone to explain the whole thing without making you feel as though you need a marketing degree first

You don't need to be a writer. You don't need to understand SEO. And you definitely don't need to have a colour-coded six-month content calendar.

You just need 45 minutes and something you know about your buyers.

Who’s running it?

I'm Karen Webber, founder of Goodness Marketing and the Do Crew.

I trained as a journalist and comms professional and I've spent more than 25 years writing marketing and editorial content, which means I've spent an unreasonable amount of my life thinking about what makes somebody actually want to read something.

I've also seen blogging change enormously. Some of the old advice still works. Some of it really doesn't. And AI has changed the landscape again.
